Midwives Network Reaches Balkh and Kandahar in December

In December 2023, the LHSS project expanded its private midwives’ network into Balkh and Kandahar provinces, marking a significant step in improving maternal health services. Midwives were connected with nearby clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies to strengthen supply chains for essential health products. During this quarter, 60 pharmacists and 50 midwives received training on ASMO products, enhancing their ability to deliver safe and effective care to women in underserved communities.
